Thai Massage &  Reflexology with Traci Waterman

Traci was first introduced to Asian healing modalities in 2007 while she was living in Thailand.  She immediately fell in love with Thai massage for it's graceful flowing movements, and it's gentle yet effective techniques.  During a session, she creates a safe nurturing space and uses many Eastern traditional techniques such as reflexology, cupping, and herbal compressing that that allow for deep transformative healing to occur.

Thai Massage is a combination of exquisite stretches, acupressure points, herbal compresses, and deep compression. It is done fully clothed, without the use of oil or cream on a cushioned floor mat. Loose clothing is worn by the client during the treatment.  Thai massage is considered a form of loving kindness, or metta, and is an integral part of traditional Thai medicine.  Traci has also been trained in pre-natal and post partum Thai massage

Reflexology is an ancient healing practice that soothes your soles and your spirit.   It stimulates the body’s natural ability to heal itself by pressing specific reflex points in the feet that relax and revitalize every part of the body.  Reflexology enhances circulation, cleanses the body of toxins, and rejuvenates health and well being.

Massage Cupping is a traditional technique that uses suction rather than compression on the body surface.  It is comfortable, relaxing, and remarkably effective.  The cups are glided over the skin or parked in one location for a short time.  The pulling action engages the nervous system, allowing a deep relaxation to move throughout your body. This can be encorporated into a Thai massage session.

Facial Cupping uses smaller delicate cups.  The benefits include a reduction of sinus congestion, wrinkles, puffiness, TMJ, and scar tissue.
