iRest® Yoga Nidra Personal Practice Immersion (iPPI) with Nöle Giulini

Healing occurs when we are no longer absorbed and tangled up in likes and dislikes. Attention bound in reaction is now available for change and transformation.
A change of perspective invites a feeling of radiant and joyful translucence in the body and brings about profound insights and Awakening.
iRest® Yoga Nidra is a research based meditation protocol that was developed by Richard Miller, PhD. It brings together the teachings of the non-dual tradition with the techniques of mindfulness and with current findings in neuroscience.
The practice of iRest® helps calm the nervous system, integrate difficult emotions and thoughts, and helps find authentic responses to life’s challenges.
Together we will explore the practical applications of iRest® Yoga Nidra on and off the mat, including:
- Inner Resource: a place that provides a sense of safety, security and well-being within
- Sankalpa: our deepest souls purpose
- Bodysensing: experiencing and moving the body as space in space: bodyfeeling/spacefeeling
- Breathsensing: calming and tonifying the nervous system
- Guided and self-guided/free-form iRest®Yoga Nidra meditations
- Self-Inquiry and Co-Meditation in dyads
The 10 step protocol provides tools and techniques for daily living to help meet and greet stress, anxiety and depression as messengers. Research shows that iRest Meditation effectively reduces stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder and enhances joy, equanimity and wellbeing throughout your daily life.

The iPPI qualifies as a “short retreat” requirement for those going through iRest®Teacher Certification.
Nöle Giulini is an artist with a degree in Art and Art Therapy. She is also certified to teach Yoga by both Erich Schiffmann and Kripalu and has been teaching yoga for 27 years. She is a certified Senior iRest®Yoga Nidra teacher as well as a certified Senior iRest trainer who teaches workshops and retreats in the USA as well as in Germany.
Inspired by her life long work as an artist, as well as her own practice, Nöle developed a unique style that animates complex ancient teachings in a playful, practical, and deeply life changing way.
It is this gift- to live the coming together of the creative and the spiritual- that is the essence of her teaching. Together with her life partner Gary Lemons she owns and runs Tender Paws Yoga Studio in Port Townsend, Washington State.
