Roberto Villamarin Dance

Roberto Villamarin, originally from Ecuador, South America, has an extensive background in a wide variety of dance forms including Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango. He studied West Coast Swing in California and other areas in the US with most swing champions and chief judges. This ongoing learning experience and his successful competition journey at WSDC (World Swing Dance Council) national events inspired him to teach west coast swing with a solid dance structure but with an eclectic approach that precisely constitutes the beauty and the diversity of west coast swing.  He both teaches and trains dancers and professionals in Seattle where he also created and co-founded two swing teams of dancers: the “Swinging in the Rain Competition Team” and the “Pacific Northwesties Performance Group”. Roberto believes that a quality of dance approach will provide a solid foundation that will cultivate creativity, musicality and artistry in new generations of social dancers.
