Offered simultaneously in
PortlandTacoma • Port Townsend

Imagine waking up in the morning and dancing first thing.
Imagine as you step onto the dance floor, two other groups of
dancers, in two different cities are doing the exact same thing.
How would that change your dance, your day, your year? You don’t have to imagine it ~you can do it.

$110-$140 Sliding Scale (includes journal)
Registration required, sorry no drop ins.
Your choice of how many mornings you do attend.

Madrona's Unlimited Pass Students receive a special discounted rate - $70 (includes journal)

Satellite attendance possibilities offered w/music provided.

The Morning Sojourn will be offered simultaneously in three places with the same format: each morning we will gather in silence and begin with a short sit allowing the dance to arrive from a place of stillness. There will be no guided instruction... Just each of us meeting the day, the music, and the dance as it unfolds. We’ll exit in silence.

Each participant will receive a custom journal created specifically for this experience and the encouragement to make daily entries. An online blog will be available to each dancer to share our individual experiences with each other. We hope to foster greater connection among all three communities by not only sharing this experience, but by writing about it together.

Lastly the three facilitators will share play lists so that music will also draw us together.

Offered at the beginning of the year, this intensive series asks what would happen if we started our year with a deep dance experience, and gives us the opportunity to dive deeply into the answers.
